Supporting Your Well-Being
In partnership with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, we’ve developed a Library Engagement & Access Program which places Social Workers and Community Health Workers in 14 of our libraries.
Each participating library offers access to professionals available to support community members in finding and navigating essential services.
Support is available for:
- Information about community resources
- Referrals for housing and shelter
- Access to healthcare services
- Self-care and wellness guidance
- Coping strategies for stress and daily challenges
- Mental health support and connections to care
Whether you’re looking for resources for yourself or someone you care about, we are here to help – confidentially, respectfully, and free of charge. Please call the library for schedules/more information.
For mental health crisis help, call 800.854.7771, or call/text ‘help’ to 988.
