Adulting is hard. Between figuring out how to start a career, managing finances, and navigating life as an adult, emerging adulthood can be a whirlwind.
That’s why LA County Library has created this one-stop shop filled with resources, programs, and services specifically designed for young adults aged 18-25. We can help you with everything from finding a job to planning for your future, all for free! Don’t worry, though, adulting isn’t all work. We also have free streaming services for music, tv, and film.

Department of Children and Family Services – Benefits Eligibility Finder: Enter your information to search a large online database of public benefits for which you may be eligible, depending on your age and circumstances, or call the DCFS Transition Aged Youth Helpline at 877.694.5741.
Department of Mental Health– Transition Age Youth: Mental health and other supportive services for youth ages 16 – 25.
