Metro TAP Card

Get Your Metro TAP Card at LA County Library

Do you use the LA Metro rail or bus system?

LA County Library has partnered with Metro to sell and re-load TAP cards at all library locations.*

You can get new TAP cards ($2.00) and adding fare to existing cards. For more information, contact your local library, call 866.TAP.TOGO (866.827.8646) or visit taptogo.net. You can also find TAP-participating transit systems and see where to ride.

*Please note: TAP cards are not sold at Avalon Library. Libraries accept cash only (no credit cards or checks), though Metro coupons may be used, as applicable. While libraries can re-load fare onto all card types, they do not sell new reduced fare cards for Seniors, Persons with Disabilities, College/Vocational Students, or K-12 Students—these must be purchased directly from Metro via their Reduced Fare Application. The library does not issue refunds for TAP cards.
