Film at LA County Library
Interested in filming at a County Library? The LA County Library offers a variety of locations for filming and photography with 86 library locations throughout Los Angeles County.
If interested, fill out the form below at least 3 weeks in advance of your filming date and our Executive Office will contact you. If your request is immediate or within 3 weeks, please indicate in the form below and we will work to accommodate your request.
After approval by the LA County Library, you must contact FilmLA to obtain a permit for filming. Filming may be subject to fees, depending on the time and scope of the filming request.
We respect the rights and privacy of all our library customers. Our staff will make every effort to work with agencies to determine the most appropriate and reasonable timeframes to minimize disruption to library services and programs.
The LA County Library reserves the right to decline a filming request.
In addition to permission from LA County Library, a permit from the City of West Hollywood is needed to film at the West Hollywood Library. Please visit weho.org/film or call the City of West Hollywood Film Office at 323.848.6489 for further assistance.
