Let’s get ready for school!  Our new Smarty Pants Storytime events have been specially designed for toddlers and preschoolers to help empower parents and guardians in supporting the education needs of their children.

While enjoying books, songs, rhymes, and movement, and having fun, kids build early literacy skills, basic math skills, social skills, and many more essential school readiness competencies.  Smarty Pants Storytime sessions also offer take-home activities that help parents replicate learning at home. Parents are encouraged to continue using the tips they pick up during Smart Pants Storytime at home to ensure children are equipped with the tools they need to be successful learners.

Smarty Pants Storytime is now offered at every LA County Library location – search Smarty Pants on our events page to find one near you.  Attendance is limited, so advanced registration is required.  Check with your local library on registration information.
