Books Unbanned

In honor of Banned Books Week (October 1 – 7), we’re joining the national Books Unbanned initiative. Our new digital card gives teens throughout the state of California access to our eBooks and audiobooks on Libby.

We’re throwing a month-long celebration of teens and reading! Check out our booklist and reading-themed events at our libraries, or write a 6 word book review (harder than you may think) to earn a prize.

There are still 3 weeks to submit! Kids and teens in grades K – 12 are invited to celebrate books, reading, and art by participating in our 44th Annual Bookmark Contest for a chance to see their designs featured at their local library and across LA County.
