Summer Discovery Program
Join our summer celebration of reading, exploration, and discovery! Log books, complete fun activities, earn badges, and be entered to win prizes. Sign up online or visit your local library to pick up a game card.

Lunch at the Library
Starting June 15, kids and teens 18 and under can enjoy free lunch at participating libraries. Meals are available on a first come, first served basis during the hours of 12 – 1 pm, either Mon – Fri or Tue – Fri, depending on the location.

Trailblazers In Conversation
LA County Librarian and Director, Dr. Skye Patrick, will be sitting down with Chris Fajardo, VP of Community for Angel City Football Club, for a conversation around the intersection of sport, community, and the things that bring us all together.

STAR Tutoring
Help your child build confidence and strengthen reading or math skills with STAR Tutoring! This free, small-group, in-person program for students in grades 1 – 6 is offered at select libraries with trained tutors and all materials included.

Gun Violence Awareness Month
For the past two years we’ve partnered with the Office of Violence Prevention to give out more than 1,100 free gun locks. Visit one of our Tool Lending Library locations to get a free lock for your household and help keep our communities safer. No ID required.
