Florence Library Moves to Shared County Building with Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk and Aging & Disabilities Departments

Grand opening of Florence Library, LA County Library

LA County Library and Los Angeles County Supervisor Holly J. Mitchell will host an Open House on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at the Florence-Firestone Community Service Center (7807 Compton Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90001) at 10 am to celebrate the reopening of the newly remodeled Service Center.

Florence Library will occupy the entire second floor of the two-story, 16,500 square foot Florence-Firestone Community Service Center, providing a beautiful and expanded space for customers to enjoy. The Library shares the building with the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (RR/CC) and the Aging & Disabilities Departments, which are located on the first floor of the facility.
