LA County Library helps to make a difference in the lives of individuals and families in need with its monthly ‘pop-up’ resource fairs at libraries.
LA County Library is a community space and a refuge – a place where everyone is welcome.
We are excited to host each month, “The Source”, a one-stop of resources and services at many of our Library locations to help those currently or at risk of experiencing homelessness transition to independent and supported living.
Individuals and families can visit our libraries and receive free services and resources from clothes to vaccinations to legal aid assistance, and more. There are providers onsite to link clients to County programs and services. The Source also offers free food, help with any mental health issue struggles and free cell phones.
The Source event is a wonderful opportunity for us to bring together multiple providers that can link individuals to resources and help make a difference. Click on an event near you for more information.
