Summer Learning Week
Bolstering Children’s Learning, Safety, and Health
The National Summer Learning Association (NSLA) is a national nonprofit organization focused on the powerful impact of one achievable goal: investing in summer learning to help close the achievement gap.
This year, NSLA has transformed its annual national awareness day for summer learning into a week-long celebration! National Summer Learning Week (July 10 – 14, 2023) is dedicated to elevating the importance of keeping kids learning, safe, and healthy every summer, ensuring they return to school in the fall ready to succeed.
LA County Library is joining in the festivities with themed programming and events at all our locations! Part of our Summer Discovery Program, these events focus on all kinds of learning, from robotics to painting to dance parties.
See the list at the right for all of our offerings in July, and if you attend, don’t forget to share your experience with @LACountyLibrary on social media with #SummerLearningWeek.
