Going Gray Art Exhibition
A C Bilbrew Library Hosts Photography Collection Highlighting Stories of Aging Along Broadway
We’re honored to host the Going Gray in LA: Stories of Aging Along Broadway exhibition at our A C Bilbrew Library. The exhibition was developed in collaboration with KCRW Public Radio (89.9 FM), and with generous support from the Eisner Foundation.
Over the next 15 years, LA County’s older adult population will double, to nearly one-fifth of the total population. Photographer Roberto Bear Guerra and journalist Ruxandra Guidi take you on a journey on Broadway through Lincoln Heights, Chinatown, Downtown LA, and South Los Angeles. Through intimate personal stories and photographs, you’ll get to know individuals, families, neighbors and communities that are already confronting the challenges of growing old in the heart of LA.
The exhibition will be on view at A C Bilbrew Library during regular library hours until the end of summer. To learn more about the exhibit and get a sneak peek of photos, stories, and essays, visit kcrw.com/goinggrayinla
