Join us on the last Wednesday of every month in 2020 for a yearlong film retrospective featuring strong women in a variety of challenges and predicaments. This month we’ll showcase a 1991 Ridley Scott classic featuring Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis in Oscar-nominated roles as two friends on the lam from the law after defending themselves from a sexual assault. They literally drive their own course, taking fate in their own hands, claiming freedom from men, and choosing, ultimately, their own destinies.
