Performer and music educator Dayita Datta presents a vibrant introduction to North Indian Classical music. Enjoy a dynamic live performance from Dayita, then participate in a hands on workshop where you will play traditional Indian instruments and learn about the core elements of Classical Indian music. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in this rich ancient art form.

Dayita Datta has been performing and teaching in Southern California for the last 10 years. Dayita studied North Indian Classical music under the legendary Hinsudtani vocalist Late Lakshmi Shankar. Founder of the Shurti Music Academy, Dayita is a passionate advocate for music education and spreading awareness of Indian Classical music.
