Try out a new musical instrument! Melanie Kareem, the heart of the Topanga Ukesters, and local concert cellist, Sandy Sounderlang would like to introduce aspiring musicians to a variety of instruments and the musicians that love them. Meet professional music teachers Melanie Kareem (Ukulele), Sandy Sonderlang (Cello), Jeanne Mitchell (Violin), Jamie Papish (Hand Drums), and Bray Ghiglia (Flute and Saxophone) as they allow older children, teens, and adults to “test drive” their instruments. It’s a great way for prospective musicians to match themselves to their new best and lifelong friend!
