Students are welcome to register for the new Mock Newbery Book Club! See what it feels like to be on an award committee and select the most distinguished book for children’s literature. Book lovers will learn how to evaluate books based on the Newbery criteria, as well as learn how to have meaningful dialogue about about books with their peers.

Participants are required to attend all sessions of the book club, as well as read and evaluate prospective fiction, nonfiction, graphic novels, and picture books. Selections will range from 10 -15 books during the entire book club. Space is limited.
