Everyone is invited to this fascinating workshop to learn and discuss the following:

• What is mental health?
• Myths and realities about mental health
• Beliefs and values about mental health
• Important facts about mental health problems
• Stigma and discrimination

Our special program will be conducted by an independent community “Promoter,” trained by the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, who will provide useful information on resources related to prevention and early intervention on mental health. Promoters are not therapists, psychologists, or psychiatrists and will not discuss mental health treatments or medications.
