Make, explore and learn about art with the entire family. Workshops are led by teaching artists from the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). Each series is drop in, you may attend one class, or all in the series. Inspired by LACMA’s mask collection, participants will have fun making ceremonial masks out of paper, found objects and other media with a focus on three-dimensionality and multi-layered effects that teach the elements
of fine art.
Art Programs with the Community: LACMA On-Site is made possible through the Anna H. Bing Children’s Art Endowment Fund. Additional support is provided by the Dwight Stuart Youth Fund, Dr. Stanley Wachs and Lisa Moriyama, the Louis and Harold Price Foundation, the Goodwin Family Memorial Trust, The Employees Community Fund (ECF) of Boeing California, the Dryan-Felson Family, and the Ducommun and Gross Family Foundation.
For ages 5 and up. Children 13 and under must be accompanied by a caregiver.
