Michael J presents his Johnny Cash Americana Music Program with his singing partner and bass player, Leticia Blumette, as June Carter. They have presented their program at libraries around California and have played at theaters and festivals in the USA, Europe, France, Ireland and Israel.
The program showcases a unique panorama of American life including songs about the American West, trains, and cowboys, plus fun Johnny Cash and June Carter duets like Jackson.
Credentialed History teacher Michael goes behind the music and myth of the “Man in Black” highlighting the roots of Cash’s music with songs and stories.
For ages 18 and up.
