“Repujado” is the ancient Mexican folk art of embossed tinwork or aluminum. In this special workshop, artist Miriam Quezada, a master of repujado, will discuss the history of this art form, and then cover techniques for engraving or “pushing out” drawings, creating reliefs on heavy aluminum to create beautiful artworks. All materials will be provided.
