Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by creating your own Yarn Painting (Nierikas) inspired by the art of the Huichol. Descendants of the Aztec, the Huichol people number about 18,000, and mostly live in the sierra of Jalisco and Nayarit, Mexico. Traditionally made from tree resin and beeswax, you’ll make your own with colorful cotton yarn and glue.

Tradicionalmente hecho de resina de árbol y cera de abejas, usted creará el suyo con coloridos hilos de algodón y pegamento.
