Get your free flu shot at your library!

LA County Department of Public Health is partnering with LA County Library to provide free flu vaccines. Health insurance is not required. Flu shots are recommended for everyone 6 months and older, including healthy adults, but are especially important if you are:

• 6 months – 18 years old
• 50 or older
• Pregnant or just had a baby
• Morbidly obese
• A healthcare provider
• Living in a nursing or other long-term care home
• Living with a weakened immune system or a chronic medical condition, like diabetes, heart disease or lung disease
• Living with or caring for someone under age 5, over age 50, or with a chronic medical condition

Hepatitis A vaccines will also be available, with priority given to the following high risk groups:

• Homeless
• Active Drug Users
• Incarcerated individuals or recent parolees
• Those that provide services to the homeless (food service workers, custodians, maintenance staff, sanitation workers, etc.)
