Come enjoy a free live concert from De’Anza.

Using resources from various ends of the musical spectrum while taking cues from traditional mariachi sounds and blending layers of modern sonics, De’Anza is a breath of fresh air in a rather smoggy metropolis. Redefining what it is to be Latin Alternative, De’Anza creates an eclectic mix of music, crossing borders and boundaries, resulting in a new take on an old form.

With strong songwriting skills at her music’s core, De’Anza’s voice is what sets her apart from the pack. With backing musicians representing various Latin American countries, De’Anza is able to indulge in an array of sounds and rhythms. The base recipe for her hypnotic style starts with the folkloric sound of the Mexican vihuela, a pinch of electronics to create her signature sound with the end result being a fiery concoction of a upbeat, festive performances.

All ages welcome.

This concert is made possible through an LA County Arts Commission Grant provided by LA County Supervisor Hilda Solis.
