The Los Angeles Music and Art School (LAMusArt) Jazz Ensemble is dedicated to performing genres such as Latin Jazz, Big Band Jazz, Swing, Bebop, and original compositions. Founded in 2015 under teaching artist Austin Chanu, the Ensemble continues under the instruction of Dr. Isaac Lopez.

LAMusArt is a cornerstone of the East Los Angeles Community and a haven of arts education for East Los Angeles and the surrounding community, offering students an opportunity to grow through sequential, individualized training designed to build skills, discipline and appreciation for music and the arts.
