Come plant and learn how California Natives used local plants, both in the past and present. Kat High, of Hupa descent, will be sharing her culture’s and other California Natives’ uses of plants. The Theodore Payne Foundation’s Seed Program Manager Genevieve Arnold will also provide planting and plant care information. All plants within the program are urban friendly and can be used in small spaces. Participants will be able to take their planted seeds home to start their own gardens.
