The Community Writers Group of Los Angeles (CWGLA) is a multi-generational, community-based group of writers who are passionate about the preservation of African American history and culture through the writing of personal narratives. You are invited to experience an afternoon of memoirs and personal portraits in which you may find parts of yourselves or your own family stories.

Writer, Educator, Curator, Elise Woodson, is the facilitator of the group.
