The award-winning quartet which was established in 1991, will perform an audience-friendly program featuring both classical and jazz works by Gershwin, Piazzola, Bernstein and others.  The individual members of the group will talk briefly about the pieces to be performed so that the audience can understand the backgrounds of the composers and compositions and how the saxophones will interact with one another in the music.  More information including sample recordings and biographies are available on the ensemble’s website,  www.coasq.com
