Event Details

Celebrate Black History Month by learning about the Underground Railroad and Quilt Codes. It is believed that secret codes and symbols were sewn into quilts and used as visual maps to guide fugitive slaves in their escape to freedom. You’ll create your own Log Cabin quilt design using colorful paper.

Join us in recognizing Black History Month in February to honor and celebrate the rich history, diverse contributions, and important achievements of African Americans.
