Event Details

Families affected by the Woolsey Fire will make shadow or treasure boxes. Please bring small items, including those burned in the fire, if you have them. For this workshop, we will take the charred pieces of our lives and fit them back together into a shadow or treasure box, as a way to memorialize the past and celebrate survival.

Led by certified art therapists Ericha Scott, PhD (LPCC917, ATR-BC) and Tabitha Fronk (LPCC, ATR-BC).

For kids 5 and up and their parents or guardians. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Limited to 20 people. Please RSVP in advance by calling Malibu Library at 310.456.6438.

Presented as part of the City of Malibu’s Resiliency series and co-sponsored by the Friends of the Malibu Library.
