Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by creating your own Yarn Painting (Nierikas) inspired by the art of the Huichol. Descendants of the Aztec, the Huichol people number about 18,000 and mostly live in the sierra of Jalisco and Nayarit, Mexico. Traditionally made from tree resin and beeswax, you’ll make your own with colorful yarn and glue.
