This workshop will be presented by The Promoters. The Promoters are independent contractors who are trained by the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health. Their role is to provide free, educational workshops to individuals and families seeking needed resources on prevention and early intervention on mental health. The Promoter is not a therapist, psychologist, or psychiatrist and for this reason he/she cannot state his or her opinion on mental health treatment or medications.
