Event Details

Join us for a discussion of  The New Urban Crisis by Richard Florida who notes that while people fare better economically in large, dense cities, those cities are also experiencing rising inequality, housing costs, and economic and racial segregation.
This discussion highlights the Undesign The Redline Exhibit, currently on display at the library. Redlining was the systematic and deliberate racial segregation of communities across the nation during the 1930’s and the effects still resonate today.
Request a copy of the book and join our discussion.
