Get Safe! Bullying Prevention Workshops

Learn about bullying and the tools to prevent it at San Gabriel Library. Workshops will be presented by GET SAFE, an organization dedicated to providing personal safety training for the past 30 years.
 
There will be a workshop for children and a separate workshop for parents, held concurrently. The safety expert will provide tips on anti-bullying techniques, real life scenario role-playing, and self-defense skills. Children will have the opportunity to practice the concepts and self-advocacy tools in a safe environment. Parents and caregivers will learn to recognize warning signs, access resources, and how to talk about bullying with children.

Suitable for ages 8 - 17 and their parents and caregivers.
